This download directory includes the following: dplay: play dvtool file to remote gateway/repeater dplus-2.2: gateway addon daemon that provides: echotest: use "XXNYYY E" where XXNYYY is repeater call. URCALL of " E" is now supported as well. voice mail: use "XXNYYYS0" to store a voice mail use "XXNYYYR0" to recall voice mail use "XXNYYYC0" to clear voice mail only voice mail register 0 available now simulcast: use "XXNYYY " to simulcast to all modules ID: use "XXNYYY I" to recall repeater ID requires /dstar/tmp/id.dvtool recorded file run echo test and copy echo.dvtool to id.dvtool. If linked, plays the linked msg. URCALL of " I" is now supported as well. link/unlink: use "XXNYYYML" to link current module to gateway XXNYYY module M. Use "REFNNNML" to link reflector NNN module M. Use " U" to unlink. You can unlink one module using another local module using the repeater callsign in urcall characters 1-6 followed by the module to unlink in character 7 and 'U' in character 8, e.g. "W4DOC CU". You can block linking/unlinking by RF users by using: touch /dstar/tmp/blockrflinking touch /dstar/tmp/blockrfunlinking touch /dstar/tmp/blockrflinking-a touch /dstar/tmp/blockrfunlinking-a touch /dstar/tmp/blockrflinking-b touch /dstar/tmp/blockrfunlinking-b touch /dstar/tmp/blockrflinking-c touch /dstar/tmp/blockrfunlinking-c for all modules or specific modules. You can block inbound network linking/unlinking by using: touch /dstar/tmp/blocknetlinking touch /dstar/tmp/blocknetlinking-a touch /dstar/tmp/blocknetlinking-b touch /dstar/tmp/blocknetlinking-c for all modules or specific modules. You can block all linking/unlinking by using: touch /dstar/tmp/blocklinking touch /dstar/tmp/blocklinking-a touch /dstar/tmp/blocklinking-b touch /dstar/tmp/blocklinking-c for all modules or specific modules. Remove the files above to unblock. This makes it easy to use cron to block linking/unlinking during nets. There are currently twenty reflectors, 001-020. Note that you should not link more than one local module to the same reflector/ module. You can use letters 0-9 and A-Z for the "n". URCALL of " nX" is now supported as well. echotest recording to file: saves echo test in file /dstar/tmp/echo.dvtool and /dstar/tmp/echo.dvrec playback from saved file: copy dvtool file to /dstar/tmp/play-a.dvtool to play on module a /dstar/tmp/play-b.dvtool to play on module b /dstar/tmp/play-c.dvtool to play on module c copy dvrec file to /dstar/tmp/play-a.dvrec to play on module a /dstar/tmp/play-b.dvrec to play on module b /dstar/tmp/play-c.dvrec to play on module c local text message playback from saved file: copy text file to /dstar/tmp/message-a to send text to mod a /dstar/tmp/message-b to send text to mod b /dstar/tmp/message-c to send text to mod c e.g. "echo HelloWorld >/dstar/tmp/message-c" The maximum text length is 20 characters. These messages are kept local to the repeater and will not be transmitted to linked gateways/reflectors nor DV Dongle users. broadcast text message playback from saved file: copy text file to /dstar/tmp/broadcastmessage-a to send text to mod a /dstar/tmp/broadcastmessage-b to send text to mod b /dstar/tmp/broadcastmessage-c to send text to mod c e.g. "echo HelloWorld >/dstar/tmp/broadcastmessage-c" The maximum text length is 20 characters. These messages are broadcast to the repeater and to linked gateways/reflectors and DV Dongle users. connection from external tools: allows users with a DV Dongle or DV Access Point Dongle to connect to the gateway for listening (and transmitting). You must now use the dplus.conf config file in the /dstar/tools directory. This config file allows admins to control how many connections and who can connect for both transmit and receive. This also provides the infrastructure for gateway/repeater linking. linking from command line: use "XXNYYYML" to link current module, e.g. echo "REF001CL" >/dstar/tmp/link-b to link your local module B to reflector module C echo " U" >/dstar/tmp/link-b to unlink your local module B from any gateway/reflector blocking users: block a user by callsign (uppercase): touch /dstar/tmp/blocks/CALLSIGN block a user by IP address: touch /dstar/tmp/blocks/IPADDRESS block a user by device serial number: touch /dstar/tmp/blocks/SERIALNUMBER Please make sure you forward UDP ports 20001 to 20005 into your gateway system just like you forward UDP port 40000. Note that all of the callsigns above are in URCALL and rpt1 is local module and rpt2 is gateway. dshark: dstar protocol sniffer IPPortTestClient.bin: utility to test proper port forwarding on gateway computers.
